The North Texas region is one of the largest military and veteran communities in Texas, with roughly a fourth of all veterans statewide. More than half of the region’s veterans live in Tarrant County (110,560) and Dallas County (97,559), but veterans are spread across 16 counties, from urban to rural.
The Coordination Center sponsored by United Way of Tarrant County provides a strong network of coordinated services to help our veterans, service members, and their families succeed in the civilian community. The network is focused on filling service gaps through coordinated care.
TXServes – North Texas offers veterans, service members, and their families access to a variety of providers that offer services in legal, housing, employment, medical, money management, clothing and household goods, education, transportation and more critical needs of the population.
